CALL FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE PARADE OF FLAGS!
  
It is with great pride that Rotary International celebrates the opportunity to
welcome people from around the world to Windsor, Ontario in an effort to come closer to realization that
Peace is Possible!  
  
We invite and encourage you, your staff, members and friends to be a participant in the
Parade of Rotary Flags on Friday, April 25, 2008.
Over 150 flags will be represented.
   
We look forward to your involvement in this once in a lifetime event.  
Events of this magnitude cannot happen without outstanding participants such as yourself!
   
About the Parade  

• Participants should arrive at the staging area (Ferry Street between Pitt and Riverside Drive) no later than 5:00pm on Friday, April 25th, 2008.  
• Please sign in upon your arrival and report to Jim Samson or Neil McBeth.  
• We invite you to wear your native dress and walk with your flag of origin.    
• Parade begins promptly at 6pm  
• Parade route begins at Ferry Street and Riverside Drive making way east on Riverside Drive to Ouellette Avenue; left on Ouellette Avenue into Dieppe Park turning east towards the Festival Plaza  
• The Parade will be led by a Town Crier followed by the Windsor Pipe Band, the flag bearers then a group of schools' marching bands.

This is truly a Multicultural celebration.  Your participation will help to showcase the rich diversity of this region.

We invite you to join in a multicultural celebration following the parade in the Festival Plaza. This includes the Peace Summit's opening ceremonies along with family entertainment and children's games. Don't miss the Brazilian Sensation, Samba Squad and a dynamic fireworks display at dusk.
