Rotary Youth Day - Windsor, ON and Detroit, MI
Join local Rotaract and Interact participants as they welcome youth attendees and explore peace through art, slam poetry, film, fashion, debate and much, much more.


Youth Attendee in Windsor   10am - 4pm
Youth Attendees will pick up registration materials at the Masonic Temple Ballroom between 8-10am prior to the start of the event.

Special Premiere and Audience with the Director - The Power of Forgiveness by Director Martin Doblmeier - open to all attendees. This dynamic morning will be followed by an interactive Mock United Nations Session and Volunteer Fair.

Join President Wilf Wilkinson as we begin our weekend long peace journey. Hear wonderful presentations on modeling future heroes, how to bring peace home as a Rotary Peace Community and the extraordinary work of our Rotary World Peace Fellows.

Attendees and community members are invited to walk with their flag of origin as they parade down Riverside Drive and into the waterfront Festival Plaza. Enjoy world-class entertainment, a multicultural civic celebration and a spectacular fireworks display at dusk! Open to the public.

"Peace Jam" Concert   - 8:30pm

Join International recording superstar Flautist, Alexander Zonjic as he hosts a night of International Blues and Jazz. This concert will feature Detroit's Queen of Blues, Thornetta Davis, the Saxophone stylings of Toronto native Warren Hill, The Motor City Horns and the Mosaic Youth Theatre Gospel Choir. This promises to be an inspiring evening that is going to raise the roof!

Sunday, April 27

Interfaith Peace Service, Closing Ceremonies, Peace Park Dedication - 8am

Featured Speaker: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. - "Our Environmental Destiny"
This interfaith service features faith leaders from across Canada and the United States. Join in this special celebration of peace and hope. Special features include an ensemble choir of 200 members and a special message that "Peace is Possible"!
